Lake Macquarie is a magnificent body of water with a circumference of 174km. At twice the size of Sydney Harbour, the lake is also the largest coastal salt water lake in the southern hemisphere. Visitors and locals love exploring the many sheltered bays, rocky outcrops, and sand islands found around the lake.
The marina is only 10 mins drive to the popular Warners Bay cafe and restaurant precinct overlooking Warners Bay Foreshore Park on the northern end of the lake. Toronto Foreshore Park complete with lakeside cafes and restaurants on the western side of the lake is 10 mins drive south. Plenty more to explore nearby including national parks, art galleries, public parks, and extensive shared walking & cycling paths with stunning views lining the Lake Macquarie foreshore.
